Coachella Parties

music festivals, party photos, Photography

Coachella weekend started late Friday night at the Flaunt party, and spilled over Saturday morning as gracefully as maple syrup on the Belgian waffles served at the “It Girl Brunch” I attended. From a secret location in Palm Springs- a parking lot shared with a Carl’s Jr., we were shuttled up to the the dFm/wedidit house aka the Frederick Loewe Estate; a scenic mansion backyard decorated like a milennial wedding reception. You couldn’t toss a complimentary bottle of dry shampoo 10 feet without hitting a well-dressed it girl with more ig followers than the last. I first ran into earth angel Larsen Thompson, who literally can’t take a bad photo.

The other main event was Revolve, which was reminiscent of the old Lacoste parties that used to be held at the same estate. It was filled with vendors, and my favorite was Colourpop because I now have enough free lip and eye palettes to last a solid few years. Revolve had a good mix of relaxing in the grass, eating free popsicles, melting in the pool, watching kids getting turnt, and impressive albeit amateur guest DJs like ASAP Rocky and Travis Scott.

Day III began at The Retreat- a luxurious lounge event hosted by Vanity Fair and Tenants of the Trees. I regretfully took no photos even though it was wonderful, especially the beauty bar by GlamSquad, eyelash extensions, delicious ice cream, cold brew, and catered food. We spent most of the day at Revolve, eating In N Out and creating a pillow bed in the grass, somewhere close enough to the DJ and the pool, but out of the sun. The desert heat was finally wearing everyone down.
